Year 6
Welcome back to the final term of year 6! This year has flown past and we can’t quite believe that we have arrived at the last 7 weeks of your child’s primary education! We hope you have had a lovely half-term and enjoyed the time with family and friends. We wanted to reiterate how proud we were of Y6 and their positive attitude towards SATs last term; they were fantastic. As you are aware, the tests are externally marked and we expect to have the results back in time for the reports to go out on July 17th. We have another jam-packed term coming up, preparing your child for year 7, so please make a note of the dates in the newsletter. Further details and permission links were emailed at the end of last term; please contact the office if you don’t have these.
Our curriculum overviews are available below, where you can find details of what we will be learning about in each subject. If you or anyone that you know has any skills linked to what we will be learning about this term, and you would be willing and able to come in and share them with the children, please let your child’s class teacher know as this can be a very enriching experience for the children and they absolutely love having visitors. We are enjoying welcoming reading volunteers in to read with the children - please let us know if you can help with this.

If you have any queries at all during the term, please do make your child’s class teacher your first point of call. We will be available on the MUGA at the end of the school day and can be contacted by email.
