Year 6
Welcome back to term 4!
We can’t believe how rapidly this year is going past! We hope you have all had an enjoyable half-term break with friends and family. We are looking forward to hearing what the children have been up to and enjoying lighter days as we head towards Spring. We have a busy, exciting 6 weeks of learning planned for Y6 and are looking forward to sharing their progress with you at the parent evenings during the week of March 10th.
Some children have been invited to join our weekly SATs club on Wednesday evenings until 4pm – this is a chance to revise learning ahead of SATs in Term 5, in addition to the work taking place in classes.
Our curriculum overview is available below and you can find details of what we will be learning about in each subject. If you or anyone that you know has any skills linked to our learning this term and you would be willing and able to come in and share them with the children, please let your child’s class teacher know as this can be a very enriching experience for the children and they love having visitors.
We will be available outside the side door at the end of the school day and can also be contacted by email. Please do get in contact if you need to at any point and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
