Gardening Club

To help us achieve our targets of improving biodiversity and looking after our school grounds, we are working hard with gardening projects. We teamed up with Blaise Nurseries and Bristol Bites Back Better to receive lots of different seedlings, ready to grow in our Upton site allotment. In 2021, Year 6 gardening club donated their summer harvest to a local cafe, which provides meals to people who are homeless. We would like to say a big thank you to Ellieana Ford, for highlighting this project with Blaise Nurseries to us and also organising a gardening tool loan from the council. We would also like to thank Avon Gardens Trust, who awarded us a grant, which has enabled us to get the compost and tools that we need to grow our plants.

In 2022, we are continuing with this scheme and have also received a generous donation of gardening tools from Wickes. We can't wait to see what we can grow this year!
