Ted's Umbrella Investigation

Maple class were investigating which material would be the best to make a new umbrella for Ted. They did this by choosing different materials to test to see if they were waterproof or not. Then they discussed other factors such as how strong and durable the material was.

They tested a plastic bag, lanminating sheet, cling film, kitchen roll and tin foil.

They found out that the plastic bag, lanminating sheet, cling film and tin foil all kept Ted dry, but decided that the laminating sheet was the best choice as it was the strongest material and therefore the least likely to rip.
