Year 4

Welcome to Year 4!

Welcome back, we hope you had a spooky half term break and are ready for another busy term in the lead up to Christmas! We have lots of fun things planned this term. We will be concluding our Anglo Saxons unit in History and begin to learn about the Vikings! As part of this, we will be visiting Weston-super-Mare museum and our homework project is linked to our Vikings topic. In DT this term, we will be sewing booksleeves. If you are available to help with this, please contact your child's class teacher. We will be in touch with dates for this in the coming weeks.

Swimming continues this term. The last session is Monday 1st December.

On our Year 4 page, you will find our newsletter, which gives more detail about the lessons we’ll be covering this term, as well as our yearly and termly overview.

If you have any questions at any point during the year, please don’t hesitate to email your child’s class teacher or catch them on the playground at the end of the school day.

Drop off and pick-up.

Children are able to go into the back playground through the large black gates from 8.30. At 8.40, teachers collect classes to take them upstairs. At this time, the black gate is closed and children are able to enter the building through the white door until 8.50. After this, children will need to come in through the main entrance and sign in there.

Children will be dismissed from the back playground at 3.10 and must have pointed out their adult to their teacher before being able to leave. After school club collect from the playground.
