Term 3 Homework
1) Please read with your child daily or encourage them to read independently for pleasure.
2) Spelling Shed / Spelling words - please encourage your child to practice the weekly words either using the website/app or using any suitable method you prefer.
3) Times tables / TimesTable Rockstars - all Y4 children need to learn their tables up to 12 x 12.
4) There is a homework project this term. Please see the document below for more information.

Week 1: (words where a suffix is added towards ending in 'Y') merriment, happiness, plentiful, penniless, happily, prettiest, nastiness, beautiful, pitiful, silliness
Week 2: (words ending in 'ious' and 'eous') serious, obvious, curious, hideous, spontaneous, courteous, furious, various, victorious, gaseous
Week 3: (challenge words ) extreme, although, breath, caught, different, exercise, medicine, thought, business, possession
Week 4: (words where 'au' makes an /or/ sound) automatic, August, launch, haul, astronaut, cause, author, applaud, autumn, audience
Week 5: (words ending in 'tion') invention, injection, action, hesitation, completion, stagnation nomination, migration, communication, selection
Week 6: (words ending in 'sion') expression, discussion, confession, permission, admission, impression, obsession, procession, omission, concussion
